The Japanese Meteorological Agency declared the end of this year’s rainy season in Tokyo on June 27.

Despite the government has relaxed the guidelines for wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in response to the increased risk of heatstroke, many Japanese students still wear masks everywhere.

Amid soaring temperatures of above 35℃, we are currently facing another problem — persuading students to take their masks off where they are allowed to.

You should check the guidelines on where you are encouraged to take your masks off with a view to prevent heatstroke.
